I’m so excited to share with you Brad and Jackie’s sunny Grand Rapids wedding! Jackie and her mom, Nan, were such master planners for the wedding day. They had backup plans if it were to rain, and Nan even put together Jackie’s wedding bouquet! How sweet! Fortunately, no rain was in sight and the sunshine made an appearance all day long for Brad and Jackie’s wedding. Even more fortunately, the day following their wedding, Grand Rapids had a HUGE snow storm and as I look out of my office window, an inch of snow covers the ground. It’s hard to believe that we had green grass and sunny skies just a few days prior! Brad and Jackie, I don’t know how you planned around that one (;
One of my favorite parts of my job is the ability to meet new couples. It’s been such a pleasure to get to know Brad and Jackie a bit more through their engagement session and now during their wedding. These two have such kind and lighthearted spirits. Their families and friends could not say enough good about the two of them as their reception speeches began. Jackie’s maid of honor, Grace, was so touched by Jackie’s friendship that she got choked up only one sentence into her speech. Needless to say, these two have hearts of gold.
Brad and Jackie, it’s so obvious how much love surrounds the two of you. May your marriage be blessed and compound on all the love you shared with each other and your loved ones on your wedding day. Enjoy these first precious moments as newlyweds.
Much love, Ellen
